Gust Gobbler Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 October 2026 · Release in preparation · Applies to Gust Gobbler for Android and for iPhone and iPad

Who we are

Gust Gobbler is a steering game made by LogicIgniter. This policy explains what information the game handles on Android (phones, tablets and Android TV) and on iPhone and iPad, why, and the choices you have. For any question about it, email [email protected].

Who the game is for

Gust Gobbler is intended for people aged 13 and older. The whole game is playable by everyone, offline, without an account. Advertising is shown only to players who confirm they are adults (18 or older) on phones and tablets. Players under 18, players who skip the age question and players whose age is unknown play everything without the game starting Google’s consent or advertising flow. On Android TV the game asks no age question and shows no ads.

Information saved on your device

Your progress (the streets and districts you have collected, your stars, your best deliveries and the days you played Today’s street) and your sound, haptics, language and quiet-motion preferences are saved in the game’s private app storage on your device. So are the records the game uses to limit how often an ad can appear (which streets have had their chance and when the last ad was shown) and the privacy choices Google’s consent tools store on the device. Your streak and the last seven days are worked out from your saved days; nothing extra is saved for them. On iPhone and iPad, to apply your language choice the game sets its own language in its iOS preferences, where Google’s consent and advertising software also saves your privacy choices and its own data. This information is not sent to LogicIgniter. We do not operate servers that receive your gameplay, and Gust Gobbler has no accounts, sign-in, cloud saves, analytics or crash reporting of its own.

The age question

On phones and tablets, a neutral screen asks for your date of birth or lets you skip before you play. The whole game is the same with either choice. Your date of birth is checked on your device and then discarded: it is never saved or sent anywhere. Only the resulting group (adult, under 18 or unknown) is kept in memory for the current app session and is never saved; when the game starts again, it asks again. For adults, the game’s consent request tells Google that the player is not under the age of consent, and ads are requested without any child or teen treatment. Neither includes your date of birth. Confirming your age is not consent to personalized advertising.

Advertising

For adult players on phones and tablets, the game uses Google Mobile Ads to show one full-screen ad opportunity when you tap Next street after collecting a street for the first time: at most once for each street, never after the practice street, a replay or a street you are visiting from a link, never when you share, and at most once every ten minutes. Only a collection counts: a run in which the tornado dispersed, the containment window closed or the tornado reached the collector too light never leads to an ad. Never on a timer, at launch, while you are playing a street or on Android TV. If an ad is unavailable, the game simply continues; ads are never needed to play, and network or consent failures never block the game. Ads use Google’s G (general audience) content rating.

Your advertising privacy choices

Before any ad is requested for an adult player, the game uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check your privacy choices and, where the law where you live requires it, to show Google’s consent form. Ads are requested only after that check and any required form are complete, and only when your choices allow it. Where Google requires it, “Advertising privacy options” in the game’s settings reopens your advertising privacy choices. On iPhone and iPad the game does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, asks Google for non-personalized ads only and turns off Google’s publisher first-party ID, and adults can choose “Report an ad” in the game’s settings, which prepares an email to [email protected] containing only the app version, OS version, device family and time. Changing a choice affects future requests; it does not delete information Google has already received.

Information Google collects through the game

In adult sessions on phones and tablets, Google’s advertising and consent services can process your IP address, which may indicate approximate location, app interactions such as launch and ad events, diagnostic and crash information about the advertising software, and device or account identifiers (on iPhone and iPad, device identifiers limited to this app or its developer). Google encrypts this traffic with TLS. On Android, the game removes the advertising-ID and Privacy Sandbox advertising permissions, but on some Android versions Google’s software may still read the advertising ID, and the game declares that use to Google Play. On iPhone and iPad, the game never asks for Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission, so Google’s software cannot use your device’s advertising identifier. Gust Gobbler itself has no accounts and creates no user IDs. Google uses this information for app functionality, analytics, advertising and measurement, and fraud prevention, security and compliance, under its own privacy policy. Google’s software is part of the app and can make limited network connections when the app starts, whatever your age answer, although the game makes no consent or ad requests for players under 18 or of unknown age, or on Android TV.

Permissions

The game uses network access only for Google’s consent and advertising services; the streets work offline. It uses vibration (on iPhone and iPad, the device’s haptics) for optional feedback, which follows your device’s touch-feedback or System Haptics setting and the Haptics switch in the game. It does not ask for camera, microphone, contacts or location access, and on iPhone and iPad it does not ask for permission to track you. Sounds are synthesised on your device.

Sharing and street links

Sharing happens only when you tap Share, on phones and tablets; Android TV has no Share button. The game draws a storm postcard on your device and hands it, with a short message and a link, to the app you choose. The postcard shows the street (for a district street, its map with the track your tornado took; for Today’s street, only your tornado’s silhouette, never the street’s layout) and how your run ended. The link carries a short street code made of the street (its district, number and version, or the day of Today’s street) and how your run there ended. Only after a collection do the postcard and the code also carry your delivered mass and stars; after the tornado dispersed, the window closed or it reached the collector too light, they show only the street and how the run ended. Anyone who opens the link can see these and play the same street. Neither the postcard nor the link contains your name, an account, your device or your location. The link does not carry your steering, your tornado’s track or when you played; a code for Today’s street names only that street’s day, and the street itself is worked out on the device that opens it. On Android, the postcard is written to a temporary file in the app’s private cache so the app you choose can read it; postcards older than about an hour are removed, except the two most recent, after each share and when the app starts. On iPhone and iPad the postcard is kept in memory and not saved as a file by the game; if you choose Save Image, iOS asks before it is added to Photos. On either platform, if the share sheet cannot open, the message and link are copied to the clipboard instead. Gust Gobbler does not send, upload or keep anything about what you share; the app you choose handles it under its own terms. Opening a link starts that street on your device. A street in a district you have not opened yet, Today’s street before you have collected Tile Row, or a day that has not started on your device opens as a visit: playable, but not saved, not counted toward your progress and never followed by an ad. A street you have unlocked opens and counts as usual, and can be followed by the first-collection ad break when you tap Next street. A damaged link, a street your version of the game does not have, or a result that could not happen on that street changes nothing. The game does not send the link anywhere or keep it. The web page that shows a link in a browser reads the code in your browser and does not store it.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Keeping and deleting information

On Android, information saved on your device stays there until you clear Gust Gobbler’s app storage in your device settings or uninstall it, and cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are turned off for the game’s data. On iPhone and iPad, delete the Gust Gobbler app from the Home Screen or in Settings › General › iPhone Storage (iPad Storage on iPad); offloading the app keeps your data. The game’s own saved files are excluded from iCloud and computer backups, but iOS can back up the app’s iOS preferences, which hold the language the game applies and what Google’s consent and advertising software saves there. Because LogicIgniter does not receive or store your gameplay or advertising data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Removing local data does not delete information Google has already processed; Google keeps and deletes information it receives under its own policies, and you can manage it through your Google settings and the links below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. For information held by Google, use Google’s privacy tools. For any request or question about Gust Gobbler, email [email protected] and we will help. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game’s advertising flow, contact us.

Google’s policies

Read Google’s privacy policy, how Google uses information from apps that use its services, Google’s advertising data disclosure for Android and its guidance for iOS apps. Google Play, the App Store and your device’s operating system also process download and device information under their own policies.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy, and the date above, before Gust Gobbler changes how it handles information. For questions, contact [email protected]. Information you choose to email is used only to respond to you; please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information. LogicIgniter’s website and business services have a separate privacy overview.
