Application

API Watchdog

Monitor provider changelogs, blog feeds, and status pages for changes, then assess the impact on your registered dependencies.

For Dev teams managing multiple third-party APIs.

What you provide

  • Provider name and changelog URL, with optional blog-feed and status-page URLs
  • Endpoint patterns and a description of how your application uses each dependency
  • Check frequency for the monitored provider

What you get back

  • Classified changes from monitored source pages, with severity and detected endpoints
  • Impact assessments for registered dependencies
  • Affected-dependency lists and recommended review actions

Example workflow

How a team might use it

An engineer adds a provider changelog URL and registers the endpoints their application uses. A later check finds a deprecation announcement. API Watchdog records the changed text, classifies the announcement, and returns the dependencies that need review.

Connect to your workflow

Use REST/JSON to send inputs and retrieve results from your application. Read-only MCP is available for supported services. Your team reviews the results and controls actions in its own systems.
